AAUW Doctoral International Fellowship

I am pleased to be selected as a recipient of an AAUW International Doctoral Fellowship in the amount of $20,000 for the 2020-2021 award year. Founded in 1881, AAUW is one of the world’s largest sources of funding for graduate women. These prestigious awards are highly competitive and selective.

Google Women Techmaker Scholarship

 I am very proud and humbled to be selected as a Google Women Techmaker Scholar for 2018-2019. Google is furthering Dr. Anita Borg’s vision of creating gender equality in the field of computer science by encouraging women to excel in computing and technology and become role models in the field. A group of female students is selected from a competitive pool, and scholarships is awarded in the amount of $10,000, based on the strength of each candidate’s academic background and demonstrated leadership and impact on community.

SACM Scholarship

Saudi government has made significant financial investments to support Saudi talents to study and acquire the knowledge and skills and to be cultural envoys between Saudi Arabia and other civilizations. I am honored to be a part of this generous scholarship program. The program covers full tuition, medical insurance, a monthly stipend for living expenses, and an annual round-trip airfare.

Scholarship for Attendance of Research Conferences program provides support for women students in Computer Science and related programs who wish to attend research conferences. I was awarded $1000 for attending MobileHCI 2015 Conference.

SIGIR Travel Grant

I am pleased to get a SIGIR Student Travel Grant in the amount of $1,000.00 USD. That provides funding to help cover the cost of registration, travel, and lodging to the CHIIR 2020 Conference.


GHC Scholarship Grant by Accenture 

A full scholarship to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2016. There was a very competitive applicants, over than three thousand applicants, and I was selected to attend and meet incredible women from around the world in Houston, TX. (LINK)
